Think Well and You Will Be Well
Just do what you can, and leave the rest to Nature. Nature constantly says, “Be that so.” We say, “Ah, I want to be a monkey.” Be that so. “I want to be an intelligent man.” Be that so. “I am very unhappy.” Be that so. “I am sick of the whole thing.” Be that so. Whatever you think, Nature says, “Let it be so.”
So it’s up to you. If you keep on thinking negative things, Nature will say, “Be that so. Let it be so.” Because you wanted it, you got it. So you see how careful we should be even in our thoughts. Whatever you think is blessed by the cosmic force. “Be it so.” That’s why we say, “As you think, so you become.” Think well; you will be well. Think ill; you will be ill. It’s all your thought.
Sometimes you don’t think ill of yourself, but you think of others’ ills. What will happen? When you think of that, you will become that. We say, “See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil.” Why? Because if you see evil, hear evil or speak evil, you will become evil. You may think, “So-and-so is an evil person; so where is the harm in my saying that?” Yes, he or she may be evil all right, but why are you thinking of those evil qualities?
When you keep thinking of evil qualities, that is what you become. You are not hurting the other person, you are hurting yourself. That’s why we should always think well, think well, think well in our lives. Always see good things. Train your eyes to see the bright side of everything.
