Your Good Actions Will Bring Good Results Later on

What we earned in the previous life we bring to this life. And in this life we are earning more. If we have done a lot of bad actions before, and suffered the results, we learned, “Yes, I shouldn’t be doing anything bad.” Now you are a good person, but that doesn’t mean that all of the bad things you did before are going to be forgotten. No. You have to answer for them. You are good now, you were bad before.

So your sufferings are the result of your past bad actions. Your good actions will bring good results later on. But if you don’t believe in that you say, “Oh, why is a good person suffering like this? Look at that bad person enjoying life.” He or she was good before, and enjoys all that now. If you don’t have time to face the results of your present actions in this very life itself, you will certainly face them in the next life. That is the theory of karma. No one can escape from that.

So God is not responsible for the karma. God is only responsible for seeing that what you sow, you reap. That’s all. If you put your finger in the fire, it will burn you. The fire is not responsible for that. The function of fire is to burn. You can use the fire for a good purpose or for a bad purpose. It’s up to you. So let us not blame God for everything. God is a neutral energy, like electricity. Plug in a lamp, you get light. Plug in your finger, you get a shock. You cannot label electricity as good or bad. You can use it for any purpose.
