Then Nobody Will Lie

Question: What is the proper attitude to have toward someone who is lying to me?

Sri Gurudev: When somebody lies to you, he or she is afraid of you. He is not courageous enough to tell what he feels. Be sympathetic and give the person confidence that he or she doesn’t need to lie. Give people confidence; then nobody will lie.
