All the Rest Is Just a Dream

In the end, nobody—none of these so-called loved ones—is going to come with you. I don’t say that you should deny them or renounce them. It’s all right to be with them; but you have to save your soul. Nobody else is going to help you with that. How many individuals have left the world with the people they loved so much, or the money they loved so much or the name they loved so much? None. Everything is soon forgotten. History tells us that. The only people the world remembers are the few who have really given themselves to God.

Put God first. That is the first and foremost thing to achieve. God is the only reality. All the rest is a dream.
